Trak-n-Way solves both problems by capturing and analyzing Dynamic Excursions of Mass (D.E.M.s).When a heavy vehicle hits a road irregularity—like a pothole, a failing culvert, or a bridge abutment —its suspension creates a “bounce,” a rapid change in instantaneous weight. This is a D.E.M. Our TCA Type-Approved Smart OBM system uses high-precision pressure transducers to capture these D.E.M. events, correlating them with GPS coordinates, speed, and time. This data is sent to the INSCOM Trak-n-Way server, creating a real-time map of infrastructure health. Asset owners can see exactly where the road network is degrading before it fails. Operators get proven, compliant OBM systems to unlock access to programs like IAP and PBS, and road authorities get the critical data needed to manage their assets proactively.
